1. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website is:
Am Seerhein Vermietungen
Am Seerhein 6
78467 Konstanz, Germany
Phone: +49 7531 8151-0
Email: post@seerhein.de
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is a static site and is served from a virtual server operated by us. The hosting provider is Hostinger International Ltd.; the server is located in Germany. No content delivery network or upstream service such as Cloudflare is used for delivery.
When you access the website, the server processes technically necessary access data in log files, in particular:
- the IP address of the requesting device,
- the date and time of access,
- the page or file requested,
- the volume of data transferred and the HTTP status code,
- the browser, operating system and referrer used.
This processing is necessary in order to provide the website securely and reliably and to defend against attacks; the log data is also evaluated in order to block suspicious IP addresses automatically. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
3. Processing of form enquiries
If you contact us using the enquiry form or by email, we process the details you provide in order to handle and answer your enquiry. Specifically:
- Required: the subject of your enquiry (office space, coworking, event venue or something else), your name, your email address and your message.
- Optional: company, phone number, the floor area you need in square metres and your preferred move-in date. You may leave these fields empty; they only help us suggest suitable units.
The data is transmitted to us by email to the mailbox of Am Seerhein Vermietungen. You also receive an automatic acknowledgement at the email address you provided. No further storage in a database takes place; the website itself is static and does not maintain user accounts.
To protect against automated submissions, the form contains an additional field that is invisible to humans (a honeypot) and a limit of five submissions per hour and IP address. Your IP address is held only transiently in memory for this purpose and is not stored permanently. Cloudflare Turnstile is used in addition (see section 4).
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry is directed at concluding or preparing a contract (for example a tenancy), and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required for that purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
For tenancies, our separate privacy policy for tenants (PDF, German) applies in addition.
4. Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection)
To protect the contact form against automated misuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile. For data protection reasons the required script is only loaded when you submit the form — not when you open the page. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to Cloudflare and technical characteristics of your browser are evaluated in order to distinguish human users from bots. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing spam and protecting our systems under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
5. Google Analytics — only with your consent
We use the web analytics service Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) in order to evaluate the use of our website statistically and to improve it.
Google Analytics is loaded only after your express consent. As long as you have not consented, no script is loaded from Google, no cookies are set and no data is transmitted to Google. The analytics script is only loaded after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer. Using Google Analytics may involve a transfer of data to the USA.
6. Fonts
The typeface used on this website is served from our own server. There is no connection to servers operated by Google Fonts or any other provider, and no personal data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
7. Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights in respect of your personal data:
- the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
- the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
- the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),
- the right to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details in section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
